Downloading and Signing Up

Embarking on your Sociera journey is simple and seamless. Follow these steps to create your account and start connecting with professionals around you.

1. Downloading the Sociera App

Access the App Store: Depending on your device, open the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Search for Sociera: Type "Sociera" into the search bar and look for the official app.

Install the App: Tap "Download" or "Install" to add Sociera to your device.

2. Launching the App and Initial Setup

Open Sociera: Tap the Sociera icon on your home screen to launch the app.

Welcome Screen: You’ll be greeted with an introduction to Sociera’s mission—helping professionals connect effortlessly.

Sign Up Prompt: Tap "Sign Up" to start creating your account.

3. Choosing a Sign-Up Method

Sociera provides multiple ways to sign up, allowing you to choose the most convenient method:

  • LinkedIn: Automatically imports your name, email, job title, and profile picture for a quick and professional setup.

  • Google: Uses your Google account credentials for a streamlined login experience.

  • Apple ID (iOS Only): Provides a private, secure sign-up option with the ability to hide your email.

  • Phone Number: A universal option that verifies your identity via SMS.

4. Account Creation Steps
For LinkedIn, Google, or Apple ID:
  • Select Your Preferred Method: Tap the corresponding button.

  • Authorize Access: You'll be redirected to grant Sociera permission to use your account information.

  • Auto-Fill Details: Sociera will import your name, email, and profile picture to speed up setup.

For Phone Number:
  • Enter Your Number: Input your active phone number and tap "Next".

  • Verification Code: A 6-digit code will be sent via SMS.

  • Input Code: Enter the verification code to confirm your number.

  • Set Password: Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase letters and numbers).

5. Personalizing Your Profile

After signing up, you’ll be guided through onboarding, where you can personalize your profile to increase your visibility and networking opportunities.

  • Profile Picture: Upload a professional photo or select an avatar.

  • Professional Details: Add your job title, company name, and a short bio to introduce yourself.
